This varies - it depends on what you need for your class!

Sometimes professors make course materials available to students through the Library's Course Reserve. (Usually they'll tell you if they have put something on reserve for your class.) To access a reserve item, just come up to the front desk and we'll get you set up. (Generally Course Reserves must stay in the building and are only available for a few hours. For more information on Course Reserves, please see our other FAQs.)

Sometimes we have course books already available in our general collection. (We have several old text books that get referenced and used often.) If it's in our collection, you can check it out!
